Born on June 8, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, Maximo built a life centered on faith, hard work, and devotion to his family. On June 20, 1975, he married the love of his life, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez, beginning a marriage that spanned more than five decades. Together they built a family that was the pride and joy of his life. Maximo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known as a hardworking man who dedicated himself to providing for his family, often working six days a week without complaint. His strong work ethic, determination, and selflessness were an example to everyone who knew him. When he wasn't working, Maximo enjoyed working on vehicles while listening to oldies music, finding peace and satisfaction in fixing things with his hands. His greatest happiness came from spending time with his family, sharing stories, offering guidance, and creating lasting memories with the people he loved. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez; his children, Jennifer Alvarez, Julia Rodriguez Borrego, Max Rodriguez Jr., Dolores Rodriguez, Mary Ann Rodriguez, and John Rodriguez, 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Rodriguez and Genera Torres. Maximo's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the values he instilled in his family, and the countless lives he touched throughout his 72 years.
